Default LS6 and Nitrous

Got the V up and going after a fresh rebuild and new cam. Wondering what everyones thoughts are on a completely safe nitrous setup would entail on an LS6. I keep being told a 100 shot shouldn't be a problem, just don't want to wish I had done less etc. Clearly tuning is essential

More then 175 is pushing it on stock rods and piston lol

Thats a lot more than I planned, I thought a 100 should would be reasonable?

i have sprayed 100 shots on basically every motor in existence lol.

we sprayed my friends ws6 trans am with a 225 shot for years before going turbo.

nearly the same engine

100 is a cake walk.

just have a way to pull the timing, a good way to do it is if you have the car licensed with hp tuners you can set the bottom of the IAT table -40deg to like -5deg or -7, when you disconect the iat, or hit a switch that disconnects one of the wires, it will pull the timing globally, that way you can keep your timing in on motor. and pull it when you want to spray it

I have a friend with a c5 corvette that's
been spraying 175 for years . He actually just messed it up though but it was driver error. My ls6 has been running for 2 years with 670 rwhp and I drive it all the time so 100 shot is nothing.To me its not enough haha.
