Its a MS3X and yes I am wiring it myself. I wire drag cars for buddy's and street rods for a friend that has a shop. I hear too many people say "that's close enough" to let someone else work on my stuff. I hope to get enough fab and wiring work with people seeing the nova that I can start working full time in my shop.
Thanks for the compliment's

awesome i would love to see some of the wiring skills in there!
i would love to watch a person who wires cars like this for a living and pick up some tips and tricks to clean up my own stuff or the quick way to get it done correctly, i do pretty good on my own, i dont have any issues with faulty wiring i just dont build anything pretty hahah

Just take it one wire at a time and NEVER say "it's good enough"! It may take a bit more time, but the end result is worth it. This project tested me, no room under the dash. Not an LS but BS3 controlled efi hilborn, kinda cool

Damn I just seen you are in grand island. We are 20 miles apart. Do you ever go to GCA days in st. paul? My camaro is pretty well known there. Yea I like to make my stuff look clean and take my time. I'm actually starting on a 5.3 S480 build. Would love to come look at your car

got the engine and 4l80 in this weekend. Has anyone used the microsquirt for tranny control? I am not sure if I would be better off with the megashift on the GPIO board or the microsquirt to work with my megasquirt 3.

I have been using a microsquirt for a trans controller on the 4l80e, for the last 4 years. As have a few others, but not as long.

The GPIO has more "features" but I started using the Microsquirt before the GPIO was "ready" and the microsquirt seems to be enough to get the job done.
And, has been fool-proof so far.
+1 for the Microsquirt, here.
