per KUP they work better when up high like that. its all in an effort to keep it cool. sacrifice a little form over function. although KUP does offer the new black SB lines. but i figured the SSB lines were fine for now.

Apart from that, top notch.
thanks man. for some reason, my steam vent lines were kind of long...and the bracket doesnt work with the BBK intake... so i just had to deal with it. i probably should have got black fuel lines but o well. lol. it looks better in person. And for sure we can me up soon. ill be in indianapolis quite a bit this year for car meets and events. If ya got facebook, join our Page at "Boosted LSX"

Well, pretty big update. The last piece of the puzzle has been picked up. I went and got my RPM Level 5 4L80e Transmission along with my Precision Industries Vigilante ~3600 stall today. Im ordering everything i need to install it tomorrow and hopefully have it in the car next weekend. Its just some small stuff left after this. Should be ready for some tuning in march!

Not sure if anyone is following this still. But, I got the 4l80e in the car. I ordered a new slip yoke for the drive shaft. I also ordered my eboost2, and digital fuel pressure gauge and will wiring those in this week. I ended up selling my FIC2000 injectors and will buying a set of ID1300s instead. Only thing im really waiting for is wheels/tires and CTS-V brake upgrade and then we can start tuning.

You sure 15s are going to fit with the CTS-V brake upgrade?

heard that. as soon as we get those injectors. hopefully it will be warm enough we can both get a tune asap.

i wish I could convince you to go with alumastar 2.0 like im getting. that car would look amazing with them. sure they are expensive. but strong, light, and look better than any other race wheel IMO

Yea. were going to start street tuning probably on the weekend of the 21st of march. I like the alumastars, but everyone has them, and i dont wanna run a skinny up front all the time. ive done that and i hate how it makes the car feel.

Again. sorry for the lack of updates. I mainly update everything on our boosted LSX page on facebook, or on my personal facebook. But, the car is just about done. this saturday it should be pretty much ready to go other than exhaust and some odds and ends **** like an oil change/alignment/tune.. . I did however, get my CTSv calipers in and powdercoated, my wheels and tires on, and got my gauges installed along with my new ID1300 injectors. I gotta get the drivers seat back in and pick up a battery soon. My buddy bought a dyno so i get free dyno tunes now, and it should be operational by april 1st. so I hope to be on the dyno within the next 3 weeks.

here is some progress....

CTSv calipers behind 17x7 Dark star wheels

325/50/15 MT ET Street radials

ID1300s

The cockpit... Eboost, auto meter trans temp gauge, innovate LC1 wideband and AEM fuel pressure gauge

Car on the ground, first time in a year!!

Good deal man. Was just curious. He has been posting on our local gto forum about the dyno, thats pretty exciting. I'll have to make the trip up there to get on it.
