i rented a miller MIG welder and used flux core wire to tac it cuz im.too cheap to buy the argon lol. but i took it to a local guy i found whos a really good TIG welder. he uses a miller also.

well heres my plan for the next couple months. id like to start it by fall.

main things to do in order.

-Fab in the wastegates
-Order/Fab the cold side
-Order/plumb fuel system
-install fuse box harness
-relocate battery
-delete ABS
-install catch can system
-send PCM off for start up tune

still gotta make a bracket for the radiator, and do a couple little things coat the hotside and wrap it, paint some stuff...stuff like that. after it runs ill b focusing on gettin a tranny for it then lastly will b to boom mat the interior, put in a boost controller and a new wideband and finally a tune. gonna b awhile yet unfortunately

Thanks man! I wish i could take credit for the welding though :-/. My buddy tac'd everything and i know another guy whos a really good tig welder. Im kinda far from running lol If it werent for money, id be done already haha

aaaa, i took a shower and a **** earlier? hahahaha. No, not yet, im up near chicago visiting the GF this weekend. I have it planned with my buddy to have him come over next weekend so we can finish up the wastegates. I plan on ordering my Intercooler setup on August 2nd though! Hopefully start it by October?

Also, ive got in touch with a tranny builder, and i may be going to a 4L80E, instead of the TH400. so thats pretty exciting.

haha, well be more specific! and yea, its only gonna cost me another $5-600 over the TH400, so i might as well. Still looking into a couple things about it.
