Default Initial startup running too rich.... any ideas?

Hey guys, just went to start my Huron Speed kit with a TC-76 for the first time and she is running PIG RICH! So much the car wont stay running. Just fills the garage with smoke and dies out. Any ideas? Anything to look for? I had my tuner do a startup tune on my PCM, running SD.

More details are 80 lb deka injectors and a walbro 255 with the hotwire kit.

Turbo noob needs help!!! Thanks in advance!

Check with your tuner, thats what I would do to beguin with. How rich is the car running? Seems real bad.

Who is tuning the car? I think I may know and can let him know to get you set-up or corrected ASAP!

Blowing smoke isn't a good thing. I'm not a turbo expert, but that sounds like your burning oil. Even running rich at idle, you shouldn't be seeing smoke, at least I never have.

It smells like gas, even burns the eyes. I don't have any oil in the piping... would I see any there is the turbo was dumping oil?

Make sure your Coolant temp sensor is plugged in and working. That will dump fuel on startup.

I checked the coolant sensor and it's hooked up, if it's working or not I don't have a way to tell. I'll most likely be running the pcm up to the tuner this week for a reflash.... Ugh.

No, it's running way too rough to drive it an hour. I have the actual dyno tune scheduled for this Friday, just need it to start first to be able to get it there lol. Thanks for all the ideas guys!

Pure and simple it's a bad tune.

With the significantly bigger injectors you need to scale those correctly in order for it to run properly.

If you have 80lb injectors spraying the same pulse as a stock 28lb injector you're going to have problems. The computer doesn't know what injectors you have on there, so if the tune is close to stock it knows to keep the injector open for a certain amount of time. If those injectors are much bigger, that same pulse is going to deliver alot more fuel.

A proper tune with the correct injector data will keep the car running just fine to putt around to a tuner.

He said it has a base tune in it already so I would think it would be good enough to idle and run. I would tow the whole car to the tuner so he can troubleshoot it if its not the tune. With AAA if you just sign up I believe you cant tow anything for the first week or two.
