procharger still spinning after ignition is off?
my F1A still spins for a second after i cut the ignition... it seems new to me but i just caped the cutouts so its a whole new sound... i confirmed it was the blower spinning today, i had a buddy start the car and shut it off and sure as **** it was the supercharger still rotating... i thought i broke something so i pulled the belt off of it and grabbed the pulley and grabbed the impeller and they are still connected... what could be causing it?

Are you using one of those clutched pulleys ?
If it's a normal pulley, it should be impossible for it to spin with the engine off as there is a direct mechanical linkage stopping it.

key is still in it, but if one of the gears or shaft broke wouldnt it not move air anymore? and wouldnt it be all bound up? thing feels like it did brand new... it just keeps spinning LOL its making me nervous!
should add there is maybe 500 miles on this unit... i had it rebuilt after the cone fell off and sucked its self into the impeller... procharger fixed it for free... as you can hear in the vid it sounds perfectly normal, even the "spin down" sounds like it would if you just spun it with your finger real fast.

it's a poor video. Can you show us the actual impeller wheel throughout this test ?
And again, what upper pulley are you using ? Is it one of their clutched/sprag pulleys ?

the belt is stopped., i honestly dont know if the impeller is. there isnt much clearance between the header and the inlet. ill put a belt on and try and squeeze a camera in there... but i thought the sound of it was the important part
