Compression is going to be in the 9.6-9.8:1 range. Most likely a 15cc dish.

Alot of people will disagree with investing alot of money into a 5.3, its about what you want and how long to last. With a good tune you will be setup real good.

The 5.3 would make good power without going to a 383, but spool time will be decreased and it will take more boost to do so. Turbo will be at the same efficiency with either 15psi on a 383 or 25psi on a 325. Well not exactly, but very similar as the 96/88 wheel can easily support 383 cubic inches.

That should of read spool time will be increased going from the 383 c.i. to 325 c.i.

If that is what you were referring to.

So smaller ci equals faster spool?

Or are you saying the compression ration of the 325 will cause a faster spool

No, he just misworded it. More cubes will spool faster.

A stock ci 5.3 will spool that turbo fine, the extra cubes will just spool it that much faster. You need a custom converter.

Correct me if Im wrong but Ive always been under the impression that Stroker motors arent ideal for big boosted power. Personally id do a 370 or even a 347.
