The only 8" pulley I know of is the innovators west pulley, but I don't know if it's ever been used on an Fbody. Ask them, see if it'll work.

Cartek heads are probably the best 243s available

Buddy has a powerbond 8" crank pulley on his c5.

Be careful running 91 octane and 14psi with 16-17 degrees of timing. That's easily a 9 second pass in cooler, better air. Congrats. Who cares what dynos say, the car runs strong.

Yeah, C5's have no issue with it, but I'm not sure it will work with a F-body, especially with how the procharger mounts for the F-body.

I'm not saying it won't work, but I haven't heard of anyone running it.

Putting 317s on it would be a big mistake... It would send your already low compression (9:1) even further into the crapper.... Not to mention less flow over properly worked 243s.

I would put the 3.4" pulley on it, retune it on meth and wait for winter air... 9.80s no problem.

Personally.. I wouldn't even pulley down right now, I would just continue tuning it at the track and wait for good air.. If you don have meth on it, definitely do that and tune it first.

ASP makes custom pulleys, they built mine, ensuring its a true 8" (at the belt contact). Crank Pulley, 8 rib, with a key groove added to mount to the ATI damper. Awesome to deal with!
