Stock bottom end F Body So I see a ton of cars really turning awesome times at the track on stock bottom ends most are in mustangs it seems. So I would like to see a list of stock bottom end F Body cars if you could name time, weight, motor,turbo, hp just curious of other guys out there

Just know alot of these guys push stock blocks hard,but enough fuel and a good tune they do pretty well,there is a 5.3 hp list,and as post above said there is a fastest stock bottom end list as well,just know eventually if your pushing beyond its limits its no bullet proof,but the good things are blocks are pretty cheap these days,maybe you should post your plans and you could get better feedback that way

I see the list of fastest stock bottoms but its all mustang's obviously because of their weight. I just want to see what other guys are doing with their either 5.3,5.7,6.0 set ups and wanted to see some f bodies in the list. I'm not looking for anything special just some other guys set ups. (With f body cars)
I just went 9.15 at 148mph wednesday. Its a stock bottom end 1999 camaro with 317 heads. My car has a d1sc procharger, th400 and a 12bolt rear. I am curious what the fastest stock bottom end ls1 camaro is.
I think around the nation a few people claim to be the fastest stock bottom end LS1s. Check this guy's video out, he isnt a member on this forum, but he claims the fastest stock bottom end cam and nitrous only LS1 F-Body. It sure is impressive though! I know its not FI related but thought id post it.

Better yet Doug, let's hear who has a true stock bottom end. Like untouched bolts, bearings, you know. Junk yard style. Testing the GM factory assembled stuff.

This is a stock bottom end untouched. Has over 110000 miles on it, has had the d1sc on it for many years and was my only car at one point. I over heated it and blew the head gaskets. It had the old style 853 heads that couldn't use mls gaskets so I put used 317 heads on it with ls9 gaskets and head studs. Oil pan has never been off, stock rod bolts. It has a custom cam from jeff lowry(grannyshifting) in maryland. I have a built engine to go in but this thing is running too good to take out right now.
