I currently use my phone in the cupholder, but I do roll around with my laptop open on the passenger seat quite a bit. Planning to work a tablet in eventually for fulltime gauges, logging, nav, and music use.

Many aftermarket radios are running android and can use the same apps a phone or tablet would.
A Racepak IQ3 display, or logger can read the serial stream out of the Microsquirt. The IQ3 logger will give you speed from a gps sensor, if you have the extra money to shellout for it.
Or the AIM mxl can be easily hooked to the CANbus output for gauges.
Then there are the many factory European car dashs that will display the data coming from the Squirt CANbus. Granted, this is a much more complex project, but many are doing it.

I'd also like to say that having an MS setup wtih bluetooth is f'n awesome. I was used to the mess of wires with EFI Live and an LM1.
Now it's open the laptop with TunerStudio running...start the engine...voila. Connected and tuning/logging.

Mike @ efi source has my base tunes
E85 turbo 5.3 with 80lb injectors and 80mm turbo
Gasoline version of this (fairmont tunes)
and a base tune i loaded with stock injectors and stock everything including 1 bar map to bench fire motors, but i never had a wideband on that, but it does fire and run lol
he can load them and i also have them in my topics, check out the microsquirt thread in my signature for how to and tunes available for download.

yes you can plug this into a motor on an engine stand and fire it so long as you have fuel going through the stock intake.
it comes with EV1 connectors, he sells plugin adaptors that swap it to ev6 for an additional 30 dollars i believe.
or you can cut them off and put on whatever injector piggy you want
but yes.
it has the new style map sensor plug for the stock 1bar map, you could pplug and play a 2.5 bar zr1 style map or buy an older style 3 bar map and pigtail from him or anyone else and throw that on too and then read up to 30lbs of boost
