thank you guys..
its an animal I know that.. the first time today I gave it all it had and saw 19.5psi boost.. in second gear it started spinning.. I had the gate opening at 15 so I lowered it down to 12.. I know its pointless to have enough power not to hook it up..
its changed a lot since I raced it the one time down the track.
forged 302 aluminum motor
e85
475/87/110 turbo
4" exhaust instead of 3"
3600 ptc 9.5 inch converter
raised the bottom bars on the 4 link so it hooks way better now
and the cage..
I have driven 150+ miles in the last few days so it is a true street car and I hope it runs the 9 I hope it will.. its fun and fast I know that..

Wow! Impressive. What boost on that run?
Have you weighed it?

Thanks Ron, boost is set at 15psi, afr is 11-1, I had weighed it with me and full of fuel and it was 3380, I had tools, air pump, food, clothes, a heat exchanger/radiator for the a/w out of my truck in the back seat.. safe to say it was 3400 on that run..
the numbers say it was 640 to run the 9.55et and 748rwhp to run 148.
I just love its a true street car, never get over 180* going through town traffic in the middle of the day, I drove it there and home.. and it happened to be the quickest and fastes car of the day I saw at the track, including all the trailer race cars.. I am stoked.. and I know there is more to be had.. I left at 3k on a 3600 stall with my 2 step set at 3500 I know I could have been in the low 1.4x in the 60 with a way better wheely lol..
but im not complaining.. im happy. went much faster and quicker than I expected out of the car I have been driving as is daily..

There is simply a lot of satisfaction and pride when your driven in the gate, built by your own hand, street car beats up on the trailered race cars.

I haven't had a trailer since 1997.

147 is stout. Don't go too much faster, a parachute on your street car blows the stealth!

Nice job.

What bore and stroke did you go with to get a 302 final displacement? Overbore the L33 with a stock 4.8 crank?
