I can weld but only have my MIG. I'm assuming you made the brace and brackets once the hot side was complete. Pictures like this are key to someone like me who doesn't have first hand experience...

I actually built the brace and brackets first and then built the hot side around it. Pic's really do help, I keep lots of pics from other builds on hand just to give me ideas when I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to design something on my car.

Got a lot of little thing's done this weekend. I couldn't afford to have anything coated right now & I didn't want to put my turbo blanket on a rusty exhaust housing so I used some DEI silicone high temp spray and baked it @ 425 degrees for about 45 minutes. My wife was nice enough to let me use the oven & fortunately it didn't stink up the house.

Still making really slow progress, decided last minute that I wanted to clean up the harness so I got rid of what I didn't have in use anymore. It was a real pain, deleted; Cruise, TCS motor, ABS, Washer pump & hose, HVAC vac reservoir & vac line, Fog Lamps, Smog/vac pump, & a few unused Fan wires.

All welds passed the pressure test on the first try.
