Methanol/Water Injection Guys... Post your #'s
Looking to see what numbers other guys are running for their meth injection setups. I know there are many many variables but it would help give us an idea of what's typical. Here's my current setup (still getting it dialed in) with some numbers I'm hoping to see from you guys.
Motor: 5.3L
SCR: 9.5
Timing: ~13 deg (still working on raising it)
Fueling: 0.78 lambda
Mix: 50/50 water/meth
Flow rate: 15 gph max w/ dual nozzles, starts at 2psi, full at 12psi
Boost: 13psi max
Plugs: TR6 gapped at 0.028"
RWHP/TRQ:
Thanks!

All stock? Bolts gaskets basically untouched out of junkyard with exception of cam stock? Lol. I made almost 500 mustang Dyno on 8psi s475 no meth 14* timing stock ls1 all but cam. Now on 12 psi and twin meth nozzles but not been back to Dyno yet. Picked up 10 mph in eighth mile though off that extra 4 psi. Running pure m1 and twin 10 lb nozzles. AIS trunk mount methanol kit. Afr set to hold at 11.0 at wot but when meth comes on around 7 psi it drops it to 10.3 and holds it all the way to now 16psi which I have seen lately on highway pulls. Super safe.

i beat on the car pretty hard before hand. 6500 rpm doing 160+ several times lots of passes at the track and on the street It lived a very hard life. I do know for a fact i should not have been running those plugs. im not saying it cant be done. i know it can. but yes it was stock as it could be other than the cam and headers and blower.

Stock ls1 short block
2 10gph nozzles with progressive meth kit. 75/25 meth/water
670rwhp on dyno jet std correction 11psi
Have no new numbers with blower maxes out with wastegate setup. It sees 11psi and 16psi depending on what I need to beat lol

LS1 5.7 stock heads, pistons etc with cam plus custom STS turbo
Picked up 48rwhp by adding the STS water/meth injection at 6.5psi on a 5lb spring on pump gas. 50/50
In process of installing new LS3 with the latest Aquamist HFS4 system so will have far better data and control for this one.

Wow you guys are not running a lot of timing. 15 degrees on a 9:1 comp with dual nozzles. Way to be safe and its working well. curious driven87 have you tried going higher?

i have no tried anymore timing yet. i cranked the boost up to 22psi, put a transbrake in the car and was having suspension issues. everything is fixed but have no been back to track i sheered the pinion gear last week rolling into it so once the rear is fixed and some cooler weather comes in im gonna try again. ill be happy driving it an hour to the track and going 8.7ish around 155 or so.
