Weight would be 3350. Shouldnt be a issue with me in the car with a iron block and turbo setup. I see these small billet turbos making some steam and wonder if they would be better or cheaper compared to say a cast 88mm turbo?

forced induction makes a billet 82mm.

few things come to mind

1. You dont need a 82mm to run mid to low 5's... billet 76 will do the job and it will be way easier to spool and get your short times without having to throw a **** load of timing to get it to come in.

2. solid roller isnt really necessary either... plenty of guys are going low 5's on a hydraulic setup and spinning them upwards of 7500 RPM

Just my opinion maybe martin can chime in, most cams ive seen him spec for cars that are trying to make big power are hydraulic cams.

Yeah I hear ya on the solid roller. I just got a steal on this motor and it already has Jesel's and the solid roller cam and valvetrain on TFS 235's, so I figured id use it. Its a 370, forged rods and pistons, 1/2” studs and has been o-ringed. Stock crank.
76mm would be nice if I could get it to do the job? Fastest cars in the class have gone mid .20's with most of the pack in the .40's and .50's.

Our ETR-HO Billet 80 with a well thought out combo and chassis will easily do low 5's.

I would always choose a solid roller before a hydraulic in a race motor.

Budget is normally the main thing that keeps most of my customers with a hydraulic set-up. There is a lot of power to be had in a solid roller set-up.

I've seen huge power, E.T. and MPH be picked up in solid roller turbo cams even when switching from one "custom" solid roller to another.

The standard billet 80 is the same basic design as the cast 80 just 1 blade less and they share the same machining profile so the comp covers are interchangeable. The ETR-HO is a totally different animal and shares nothing in design with those two wheels, nor the covers as well.

Martin, jose and lil john while i have all three of you in here, im really thinking of going to a 408ci this time vs the 365 i had. Compression will still about 9.0 To 1. My turbo is a Gt5018 .96 Ar. I miss the quick spool i had with my s380r 1.25ar t4 87mm turbine. Think ill have back pressure issues at 1050whp with the 5018? I could all ways go to a bigger a/r.
