Here is a link to my dyno graph with a 5.3 and on3 76mm with a .96 ar. As you can tell it made descent power, but noses off at about 5800. I've been thinking about going to a s475 myself.

Never used that exact turbo but I can't tell that using a journal bearing and a bb turbo....the bb turbo usually spools faster and also provides better transient power. Meaning the turbo does not "loose as much efficiency between shifts". Hope that makes sense....3 hrs of sleep and morning shots don't always produce the best writing lol.
I the BB helps between shifts I just noticed in there description it mentions only BB on compressor side, Turbine is journal apparently. I should have to worry about between shifts as Im running a JW TH350 with RMVB. lol
What fuel are you running? I can't find it here.
FWIW, I love my Precision 7875 on my 370ci motor. Pulls hard to 6300. We also setup a 5.3 with the same turbo and it went 158mph in the 1/4, pulls hard well past 6k with a GT2-3 cam.
And if you don't like Precision, Turbonetics now makes a turbo that's very similar in specs to the 76/7875. And these turbos would be MUCH easier to fit than the large frame BWs. I have a BW S372 as well and it is GIGANTIC compared to these other turbos.

Aeromotive 340lph in tank pump
3/4" (-12AN) Feed
1/2" (-8an) Return
Lucas 120LB injectors
AEM P&H driver
Ebay fuel rails
Megan FPR
I dont have the doe for turbonetics or precision, even if I did I wouldn't get em still, at that point I would be looking BW units. I know there huge but apparently because im 3-spd I need BIG gearing and high rpm. 7k atleast.

I've made my decision on getting the CX racing 80mm, Anyone wanna buy a T76? lol
Also Im gonna change my intercooler, I run center inlet intercooler just because logically I want even air distribution cooling but I think I should step it up, the core right now is 24x11x2.75 with 3" inlet and outlets. should I leave it or step up to 24x12x4 core?
DP will change to 3.5" or will it be better to go 4"?
Meth kit is getting installed, also installing a after IAT gauge for my eyes to monitor, even thou HPtuners can watch it I would like to as well.
I have bunch of parts ready to go in and now the list just got longer. lol Anything else ppl wanna add in plz do so.
Lil John or Martin@tick will my cam be fine with either 80mm gt45 or s475 (t6 1.32)?

Treadstones design is nice and they flow much better than the cheaper ebay units. Cost 5 times as much too and they are considered "cheap" intercoolers.

I wet with the typical ebay/china 32x12x4 with 3” inlet/outlet. $116 shipped! Seems to work decently, i'm sure the pressure drop across the core is crap but it keeps my inlet temps around 20*-30* over ambient at 20lbs of boost. I'd at least go with a unit similar to this...
If you can fit 4" easily on the DP I'd go that route.

93 pump with 50/50 meth. im on 317 heads thou so 8.6:1 compression.
I looked at treadstone intercooler but then I saw this one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CXRacing-31-x12-x4-Bar-Plate-Universal-Intercooler-3-Center-Inlet-Outlet-/390360922951?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5ae352fb47&vxp=mtr
I like the center inlet intercoolers, seems they use the whole intercooler more then just the bottom of it which 90% on ebay intercoolers are. I currently have a center inlet one on mine.
Well, in minutes my plans changed, 100% for sure now that im going with the BW S475 96mm turbine with t6 1.32 a/r so Im gonna have to run open DP just thinking about if I should do 4" DP or 5", im gonna route it out the front bumper with a Aero turbine muffler at the tip.
I'd go with a thicker core if I were you. That Ic is going to be a big restriction.

21deg of timing seems way high to me. I seldom go over 15 when turning up the boost.
My bet is you hurt the motor with the tune. Too much timing/boost for the fuel. I have ran a few ls motor set ups at over a 3-1 pressure ratio and didn't hurt anything.
Like others have said you have a miss matched combo.

Timing to high at full boost. I ran a GT45 on a 5.3/LS6 cam 14/16psi. My new setup boost wouldn't go over 10psi, and I found that the cam like a lot of timing, but got to ramp it down going to full boost. The cam I got now is close to what you have.

Tryna match it now, Timing was up there yea, but it never threw knock codes, iats were low cuz it was mainly driven in 20-45 degree weather. Im mainly thinking backpressure. Something I DO not want.
Whats your new setup? Why couldn't you go over 10 psi?

LOL at my comment before....forget you were on an TH 350....EPIC Fail for me! So what made you decide on the S475? Also, Paradise Racing is down over by you somewhere. I have dealt with Luis in the past and he had given me a great price on an S366 when I had my SR20 fully built. Just any FYI in case you wanted options on where to buy.

that cold weather only makes things worse. 20deg ambiant with 15psi on 93 octane and 21deg timing = boom. if you free up that exhaust side you will just be flowing even more air and it will go boom even faster.
the meth helps but 21deg is too much timing. hell we ran a motor running on 100% meth as its primary fuel and tried turning up the timing and it started seeping water before we got to 21deg.

Maybe i forgot to mention this earlier but im gonna start at 12* degrees with the next turbo setup. I realized it was high but i dont think is was fully the reason, regardless its going down.

Yeah talk to Luis...he is the owner of Paradise and a stand up guy. He helped me out quite a bit when I had the Sr20. At that time no one in the 240sx community was really using BW and a few even made fun of me for choosing them at that time. A few months later my buddy cranked out 622rwhp on his SR20 after I sold the S366 to him.
