10 rib pulley to solely run a s/c
Im looking to run a 10rib pulley and cant find any that bolt up to a ls1 balancer, I can find 8 and 6 rib but no 10's
Anyways I found a universal one:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/vo...FURp7Aod-2gAYw
what if I used a SLP underdrive pulley:
http://www.lmperformance.com/3918/.html
Had a washer with a lug that went infront of the 10 rib pulley with the washer ontop and lug closing the gap between the 10 rib inner opening and bolt to hold the balancer on?
I would need a longer bolt sure, and I figure I could have holes drilled into the washer portion to line up with the 10 rib pulleys holes and bolt on.
So at most id need a washer/lug item machined and a longer bolt, any reason this wont work?
To illustrate the washer lug here is a fail picture

I'd think the new 2010 Camaro stuff would do, if they offer 10 rib.
I'm back to running a 12 rib in front of mine.
PB1480S front pulley, although I think Summit will do similar. steel adaptor to mount the ribbed pulley to the front pulley. Fitment of the 12 rib is as far as I know the big black generic Vortech stuff, although my current 8.5" was custom made by ASP to get the diameter I wanted.
So you could easily get one made yourself.
Or no doubt Procharger will offer you pulleys to bolt to an ATI damper

I might look to upping it to a 12 rib setup and get a custom pulley for the s/c snout. as well I have room and it wont hurt anything lol well except for my wallet.
EDIT:
so after hours of searching, i never considered a 12 rib pulley with a 10 rib belt(until s/c snout gets a 12 rib pulley) like you mentioned that other people run, well that they run 12 rib setups.....and bam this is found:
http://shop.brutespeed.com/ATI-DC034...?categoryId=-1
now will it fit a ls1? all the intranets points to yes!

It might help if you detail exactly what you want.
Different setups and bracketry will require a different belt position as far as the drive goes.
Yes you can buy ATI stiff, you can buy Vortech, you can buy xyz.
But will this align with your blower pulley ?
So exactly what do you have, what blower, where does the pulley sit in relation to the crank pulley etc etc ?
And with a custom 12 rib, that's all good and well, but belt length options are much reduced in 12 rib. There are far more belts available in 8 and 10 rib. So any pulley combo you decide on, you also needs belts to suit.
And ATI/Procharer stuff typically use a smaller diameter crank pulley, because their internal step up is much higher, so more gearing takes place internally. Whereas a Vortech require more gearing to take place with the pulley sizes in order to achieve a certain blower speed.

An Eaton blower is nothing like a turbo.
And a centrifugal blower is already to be considered a "turbo driven by a belt"
