Default Twins selection

Hey guys, looking at doing a twin turbo setup in my car, wanting to hit 800-1000 rwhp on pump/race mix with meth injection.

I plan on building a forged 408, or maybe keeping my 376 and forging it... What's your guys opinion?

I'm trying to figure out a good turbo tho. I'm looking at Garrett gtx3071r or gtx3076r, yes they're pricey, but I'll be doing this project over a couple years so I'm not sticking to a firm budget.

The car will be a weekend warrior, not an all out dragster so street ability is what's important to me.

Any suggestions or comments are welcome.

Thanks in advance

I went with a pair of 61mm from a non-sponser. Great specs and good for 1400 with 60% efficiency and 1000 with 70+ efficiency

I would do HTA3582R's if your not concerned about the price. GT30s are too small for a 408, let alone a 376.

I was worried the 3582 would be laggy, more reading looks like the 3582 .8 ar spools pretty quick on a large motor.

Anybody have dimensions of the unit so I can get an idea of where things will fit?

And good intercooler? Looking for 2 inlets - 2 outlets? I'm a metal fabricator, so I might have to make my own.

Htas are cheaper than the GTX, but the hta seems to be raved about.

The HTA Wheel that Rob came up with is a master piece, takes a little longer to spool, but makes more power.

Using Garret's boost advisor, the GTX3076s look closer to what I want as far as where they spool. The 3582 is really close to the surge line at 3800 rpm, which is about where I want to start boosting. I want quick spool over high hp

How are they performing ?

The Precision 6262's or 6266's do seem popular.

I have not get got the car running yet. Waiting on a couple parts. Hinson motorsports sucks !!!
The precision turbos are nice but they almost twice the price. I went with a bigger wheel and a smaller A/R.
