Extra weight and nonsense IMO. Run a 4" dump off the down pipe and 2.5" crush bent garbage back to a caddy muffler.

no room for a 4" on my car.. But I'm highly considering straights. I called a few shops this afternoon and only a handful said to run the X pipe.

Don't need it with twins. Short 3" DP and 3" dump. then run dual 2" crush bent piping all the way back after that.

As much as I wanted to go this route, I didn't. I already knew how it sounded with the X pipe so I just said screw it and used it. Not to mention it was an opportunity to use my new band saw and take a crack at pie cutting. It's a little crude but not bad for a first attempt.

No reason or benefit of doing a x or h pre or post twin turbo.
Post is fine if it's already in the cat back.

Agreed but the sound quality is way better with an X pipe. No popping/backfiring etc. It's a night and day difference.

Sound would be the only reason.

Clearly. Like I said earlier I only did it for the sound.

That's actually pretty neat and most of the piping made like that is in the engine bay covered in exhaust wrap anyways. I like it
