2500# car - 4l60e - Boost Hey guys, I have some questions for the FI crowd. I'm building a 1988 bmw 325is. I have a 2002 lm7 with 50k miles and a truck 4l60e. Planned upgrades for the tranny include:
transgo hd2 shift kit
corvette servo
Sonnax 2-3 shift valve
Large trans cooler
2200-2800 stall (undecided yet)
The motor is getting a hybrid Denmah turbo setup. gt45 turbo, blah blah blah.
Questions for the you guys, this is full race car if you will, stripped to nothing (literally all the undercoat is gone), stitch welded, getting a cage in the next week or two. it's very light and targeted finish weight is 2500# with driver.
Will the 4l60e handle the setup, this IS NOT A DRAG CAR. So no hard launches, suspension isn't setup for that. I'm aiming for a 500-550whp range.
