Yeah don't use that stuff . You should be able to get a few bends and weld a pipe together in there. I've worked in tighter places building a kit for a c5 corvette. Or reduce down to a little smaller pipe using a coupler.

For the OP’s build suuure. It’ll be fine. May not be optimal, but the mans using fence post to put a turbo kit together. I’d say if it makes positive manifold pressure at all, it will be a win.

Lol. Actually I meant just in general. 2" Charge Pipe or 3". Which is better? Does it matter that much?

Depends on several different variables there is no black and white answer. Would probably be fine on a mild lowish boost setup. The turbo will just have to work harder to push the charge through smaller pipe.

Lol no no no. Its just coincidental lol. The tubing on the ground is 11 gauge mild steel. Ive been really thinking of just cutting out some of the floor. I want to run 2.5" piping. I plan on running max around 15lbs of boost.

Why not grab some 18g mild steel, use 2" and run it through the cab, you'll be fine. Just beat the crap out of it anywhere it won't fit. If you want "bendy" cold charge piping look up SCEET hose. I used it on my setup a long time ago... I'll never admit to it in person though.

Not cheap, but it's rated for the heat and pressure.

. The 2.5 inch ID tubing that I used was temp. rated at -80-520*f. And has a max working pressure of 40psig. and a burst press of 140psi. Inside the 2 walls of tubing there is a spiral round steel wire so the tubing keeps it's shape.

Will 2" affect the performance detrimentally? Will it cause lag?

No smaller tubing will not cause lag. It will make the turbo work harder and raise the charge temp a bit. At the boost levels you’re talking about I wouldn't worry about it.

Jeebus man I'm all for helping, but go read a turbo book (or 2) before you attempt this!
