I would have to let Van answer that. Seeing how he is in the business of making cars fast I don't discuss the details since he set it up. If Van wants to divulge any of it he can. It's his tune that has gotten the car to where its at.

ok gotcha, well I have heard stories of really low timing also being a factor in not picking up more et with more boost added. Just another thing to ponder. Your car is very stout, but I would think there is more power with those turbos.

The Timing were it is at reads well on the Plug strap. I do not disagree with your thoughts on timing, but you have to work your way up in small steps based on what plugs read.

You can always go up in timing if needed, but if it is too much you can never go back as you be putting pistons and gaskest on it.

I have never lifted a Head or pushed water in all the years running LS and when i started was told that all i would have issues with lol.

Some think they know how to tune and go Fast, but really most get by and or lucky and really have no clue.

Sounds good, there are so many other factors as discussed there is no telling what it may be. It seems like there should be some more power with the 70's though. Does this thing have the newer or older style rods?

I do not think Wicked post was asking about him feeling he was just out of power and will not make anymore. it was who was the fastest on the Turbos he has.

This is a 3800 lb sled with 3.42 gears, We did not pick the Turbos and or their turbine or Comp wheels n ex housing etc, I did not do the Cam although it not to far off maybe on the small side IMO. Heads are not my choice and we did not set up VS either.

Rods it has a 6.125 in it, 370 cu. so not sure if your hear to pick apart the combo or to get ideas on what timing it has im not sure.

I think there is more left in car and that will come next season, now whether Wicked decides to stay on board with my ideas and experience IDK we will see and go from there.

If you want to talk more feel free to call me 314-954-9156.

Van is the expert in our area. He worked with I already had. Lol. I listen to him unless I can't afford it. Lol

I don't think we are out of power to clarify. We have only been to the track 3 times and we run 5's in a heavy *** car. I'm tickeled to death with the progress Van of Burgess Performance has made!

Do you have the On3 76's or a different brand? Twin 76's would be pretty cool.

yea the on3 76's. but given the turbine size is the same I don't expect them to make much if any hp over the 70's. We will see though it will be summer before I am able to get the car back on the track.
