I'm actually fabbing up the cold side now. Whenever it's decent outside. I removed the passenger side fender. What I'm going to do is cut a 3 " OD pipe in half (down the middle) and channel out a strip of metal in the firewall( behind the tire/inner fender) and weld the half of the 3 " pipe inside. Similar to tubbing, this will allow me to "recess" the charge pipe into the firewall and eliminate any issue of tire interference.
Picking up some DEI exhaust wrap from summit this weekend and will be double wrapping the hotside from the collectors all the way back to the turbo. I ordered a turbo blanket too. I've actually been contemplating with going back with a set of cast iron manifolds with a small legnth of 2.5" mild steel welded to them with v bands but I never knew I was going to go FI on this truck...

Cleaned up the 8.8 today. And swapped to actual corvette LS3 serpentine spacing.
