N/A setup, but the principal behind the cam needing to match the intake carries over into the forced induction realm.

The scorpion 4150 uses the 4150 flange with a 4500 blade setup...
So no adapter needed to bolt it up to a Victor intake.

So....scorpion 4150 with extreme velocity pro Carb hat...and if you can afford the space... a spacer between the 4150 and the intake...and a spacer between the Carb hat and the throttle body

The straighter you can get the airflow going into the cylinders and the more Plenum volume you have, the more power you will make.

I'm running at least one spacer on my Victor series L92 intake, and I will be using a carb hat instead of an elbow as well.

Porting the hell out of that beeotch too lol.

As Sound Engineer said, straighter the airflow and the more plenum volume you have the more power you will make.

Not only that, the longer and flatter your power curve will be after power peaks. I.E. more average power.

To make all of this tie together IMO though, the cam has to be designed for the induction system used.

Ported Vic jr w elbow. 500 wtq at 3000 rpm for me. Very happy with the intake. No noticeable loss over my older setup which was a veg ported fast 92.

I also watched a fast 102 break into a about 10 pieces on 900 whp setup. It was the 2nd one he broke. Great intakes na but pos on boost. Why not a ls7/ls3 intake?

How much better could a stock LS7 intake be over a Fast for boost both plastic?

Negligible power difference. Reliability would increase with the stock LS7 intake vs. Fast intake.

It's going in an 85 C10 so under hood space isn't an issue

What option should i choose GMPP single plane ported with elbow and 102TB or stock
LS7 intake ported with the largest TB it wil take probably a 92mm those are about my only options that will fit under the hood besides a $$$ sheetmetal!

GMPP single plane, 4150 flange, 2" spacer under the 4150 throttle body, Extreme Velocity carb hat and you're done.

Get a cam matched to your induction and it'll be the best decision you can make in regards to your combination.

Don't have room for all that and how would my inlet on the cold side side fit?

Then don't use the spacer then.

The cold side inlet would fit the same way on the carb hat that it would on an elbow with a 90mm TB.

I hadn't realized you switched from your old nitrous set-up to a cog driven blower! Looks good!

I understand now is the 4150 TB with a hat a better setup then a elbow and 102mm TB?
