New ride, Lingenfelter shortblock, how much boost?
We just picked up this 39k mile 2000 SS. It has a Lingenfelter shortblock with a gm crank, gm rods, and forged 4cc valve relief Diamond pistons, the heads are PRC 5.3 stage 2.5's that have been milled .023, unsure which gasket was used. Fast 92 and 92 mm PTM t/b. Texas Speed 233/239 cam on a 112. Made 425 on a Mustang dyno.
Here's the question.. How much boost (supercharged) would it Safely handle? And what do you expect the 'after' rwhp to be?
I know there are likely several other changes which may need to be made, like the 30 lb injectors that won't quite be up to the task.

Boost isn't linear with power, and all superchargers don't make the same power at the same boost level.
Keep it around 600whp if you want it to be reliable. You can get 200 more out of the rods but it turns into a waiting game.

gotchya. That does make sense I think. So, how about the 'how much boost can it safely handle' part of the question? That's really what I'm most worried about. I was considering about 12 lbs.
