Got the frame under it to place the driver side front Cab Mount!

Welding

Then started work on covering up the rear holes I made to clear the frame. The previous builder just cut holes and allowed open air into the cab for clearance. It also didn't really clear though!

She wanted to learn how to weld, so I figured I'd let her have it on that piece!

Here are some much needed photos! :sunny:

Paint work underneath. Just used rustoleum! Came out good and will be easy to touch up!

Gave Holly this little project to sand blast and paint for us! She did great!

Took a break from the jimmy and praticed some tube welding with the mig! Still need practice, but I think I found my settings!

I believe this is the setting I'm going to stick with! Short Burst with Settings at 3 and 60, while pulling back.

For anyone wondering, this is what happens when you forget to open the gas bottle.

Next we worked on the firewall some more! No doubt we were close to finishing it. But this center section bugged us with all of the holes and dents in it.

So we did what any normal person would do!

That's all for now!!

Thank you!!

And nothing real big, I've been doing an Internship this summer and make it home late most nights. We still have been working on the firewall. We actually cut the driver side firewall out and have the metal to replace it with now.

Should be good! I just haven't posted on the thread until something has drastically changed!

Updates are coming! I've updated the other threads and forgot to come to this one!

cant post pics from my phone, but Firewall has a thin coat of body filler and primer on it, cab corners have one application of body filler, worked on sealing the seams in the rear this past Saturday night, I bought a tig welder as well, and my dad and I have been practice on some tubing to get ready for the hot side when the time comes!
