Been looking at a couple of other purchases.

That could potentially work. I am going to need some time to pull the transmission, electronics, intercooler, etc out of it.

Still making progress on parting out the Orange Car. Haven't had a seller for the car yet though. Plenty of messages, just no sale.

I was able to pick up the replacement and many of you will probably recognize it.

I ended up picking up Kenny's Calypso Fox. Absolutely loved the build he did on this thing and it was time to get into a Mustang for racing purposes.

We were meeting at Cordova on Friday and going to test it Friday and race it Saturday. Testing ended up getting rained out on Friday and we basically rolled it off his trailer and into ours.

Ended up racing in the Real Street class of the Central IL Street Car Shootout on Saturday. We had too hot of a tuneup the three test hits but we were able to get the car to go down starting in eliminations.

We won the first two rounds and then had a bye in round three putting us in the semi-finals. We decided to split with 3 cars left with the dew on the track.

I am looking forward to making more hits with this.

Quick video of just one hit:

Going to try to put together a video of the runs and get them online.

Not sure if I am going to continue with another thread or not. Mostly will post on Facebook and videos on Youtube.

Hoping to get this out the next couple of weekends and continue to make progress.

Awesome pick up. Love that car and the build. It's also a pretty proven combo.

The notch is pretty nice, I can see why you made the move. But your old ride is pretty sweet too.

Loved watching the build on this car through the years. Sad to see it come to an end and get parted out.

Good luck with the Fox!

It's a whole different setup than your WS6. There will be a learning curve, but I am sure you will have it all figured out next season.

Officially the end of an era. The new owner stopped by and took the Orange Trans Am home. Lots are great memories over the last 13 years. Still remember flying to Detroit and driving it home.

Truly an end of an era, good for you that you'll still see the car at Cordova here and there.

I'm guessing we will be there at some point. I am not a fan of the shutdown there. It is super sketchy with some MPH.

We only have so many options for heads up stuff within a 6 hour or so drive. So I am sure I will break down and make my way there.

I got $100 on Blaine or Joey if you grab a lane LOL JK. No but really......

For real though that would be cool. I would love to see that car in person. I'll even stop by and say hi!
