If its worth the price I don't mind paying... I had a friend go to Al's rod and Custom and had it repainted 3 times cause they kept ****** up. He only paid $8k for the first paint job and they paid the other three times and it still looks like ****.

How would these be for boost. They are similar to Wisecos JY dog pistons as far as being able to run a stock rod correct?1830BSX SX Forged LS2 Chevy (3.622" stroke x 6.098" rod) Flat Top -5cc

any LS head will be good under boost. i like the 243/799 heads.

Those pistons will be fine for a 4.000 bore motor but not the OP's motor since he has a 5.3. You will have to run a large chamber head like a 317 head since it is a -5cc flat top piston.
