Seriously.....15psi with 11.8:1 cr.....?

Everyone was telling me I'm crazy for wanting to go 18psi on 10.2:1 cr with my iron forged 390ci........

What's he using for fuel?

Richard at WCCH has LSA heads of his that will get me to about 10:1 cr.

You think I'll be fine at 18-20psi with the Modular Turbo....Twin Turbo kit?

Full time E85 is the plan.......

Just the A2W + E85....?

Or should I use meth?

.....the Modular Turbo kit comes with an A2W IC.....?

I was thinking of using a KILLER CHILLER too.......they seem like they work great on the Mecedes SC'ed and turbo cars.

I'm north of 10.2:1 and north of 17psi and I don't have any issues with knock. Granted, I'm spraying meth/water, but still, no reason you need to go into the 9's for compression if you aren't pushing really high boost.

i cracked a 5.7 sleeve around the 900rw mark tho was 10yrs ago

if you oversize the turbo to better manage back pressure, and control the torque spike on the way up you should be able to pass that these days.

A2W E85 if you have it available near you if not might as well use meth.

I made 670 to the wheels. I daily drive mine and i'm always on the boost I built the car 2 years ago and no issue since on a bone stock 5.7. Nothing wrong with the aluminum block at all.

Car will be on pump and meth (M1) A2A for the time being then upgrading to a A2W later on to better maintain lower IAT's. Motor will be right around 10.2:1 compression with a 317 head for now. Car will be on kill rarely 800rwhp in a 2900 pound car should get it out of it's own way. Again thanks for replies guys I appreciate it very much!

I've seen this exact thing happen on a mustang Dyno. No tach lead and just speed based will do this. I've also seen similar but no that exaggerated on a Dyno jet. Auto cars need to be started near there flash point IMO either way.
