Got to agree how nice that fab work is! Out of curiosity, what state are you in? Wondering if you're local enough so I might see this thing when it's done.

Looks awesome. I've seen a lot of 5.3 turbo builds this seems to be among one of the better ones. How much boost will you be running?

I dont have a set amount i am looking to run, just whatever it takes to reach my goal. I would think it probably would be under 20#s with this turbo.

Looks great so far! I see you are keeping the alternator down low and the drivers pipe runs right next to it. Are you going to wrap the pipe in that area? Might get a little hot sitting that close.

What are people using for front springs with iron block and turbo kit? My Qa1 300Lb(maybe 275lb) are about maxed out for ride height and it is still on the tire on the passenger side? Should i get a 300 if they are 275s or go straight to a 325lb.

I'm pretty sure I have the 300 lbs springs with my Strange shocks.

How are you doing your exhaust? It looks like you transition your down pipe then merge out to dual pipes out the back. Any more pics of that?

Yes, the down pipe is reduced to 4" and then 90* down and at the bottom is split into two 3" pipes out both sides of the k-member. At the backside of the k-member i have cutouts facing down. I will upload more pics shortly.

Good looking work. I'd get rid of the worm gear clamps in favor of some tbolt clamps though.

I also thought it should have t-bolt clamps and i will end up probably changing them. The Fab guy said, that he has seen t-bolt clamps crush alum pipes when over tightened, also the pipes are bead rolled at the ends.

I CRANK on my tbolt clamps and havent had any problems with crushing. You get a lot more clamping power out of them over the old worm style ones.
