Sweet race car build!

 

The type of aluminum pipe that this build has is really soft. I have the same and I crushed all my pipes with the t-bolt clamps before they were hardly tight.

Had to use an exhaust pipe flare tool to out them back into round.

I found that snugging the clamps down a little at a time till when you pull on the pipe it doesn't slide out of the coupler worked out good. Then just give it a few more turns just don't get carried away.

Put 20 psi through them with this method and they didn't pop off. My pipes aren't bead rolled neither

I do all the work on the car. The turbo kit was built by a friend, he is very reasonable and does quality work. He just got done with my brothers car also.

Looking great. Could you post pics of the cold side routing. Just curious to see turbo to intercooler pipe as I'm planning on a similar turbo position...
