Need some quick Procharger help
I talked to the guys at ATI and that's the way he said they do it. Just lay heat in a circular motion around the hub of the pulley but not on the S/C shaft. After a few minutes it'll pop right off with a little tug.
When putting the other pulley on just heat the center hub on that one until it expands enough to slip on the shaft. Worked for me without any issues.
I don't know if you've already taken the bolt out yet but without an impact you'll need to hold the pulley to break it free. You can hold it by wrapping the belt around the pulley until it touches and then fold it back over itself (the opposite way that your turning your ratchet) and loop it over your shoe. Then use one hand to hold the head unit and the other to break the bolt free. Same concept as those oil filter wrenches with the rubber strap. The more you twist the tighter the belt grabs. Also don't forget to reinstall the key
I don't remember the torque specs on the bolt. Maybe 30 ft/lbs. Just look in the directions near the beginning of the install manual and they have a listing for the torque specs. Match the bolt and you got it.
