Sweet Build! That WG merge is awesome! I'm also doing a turbo LT1 build, 396ci with a comp CT6 91mm. I wish I had a dollar for every time someone said its going to blow up because it a LT1! lol. Not many people respect or realizes how much power they can actually make!

Jaw-droppingly nice build there, so I'm not meaning to throw stones. BUT, I was really hoping you were going to spout an HP goal that is a lot more than 800rwhp.
It seems hard to justify the coin that went into this build unless it ends up making a lot more power than that. What with the low-buck builds on this forum that make power in that range for very little money, and all... No?
Such beautiful work though!!!

We fortified the engine, fabricated the turbo kit and upgraded the trans from a level 2 to a level 3 this go around.
We have never pushed a LT1 this far before so we don't want to shoot for the moon before we even fly if you catch my drift.
800rwhp is a ton of power, and it will be a dead nuts reliable 800rwhp. Not a ticking time bomb stock bottom end engine that could spew its guts at any moment.

Love seeing someone doing something with the LT1! Lots of 425+ RWHP LT1 N/A guys around here. No reason a turbo on top of that can't get it done!

I had well over 850hp on my turbo build LTX with forged internals, 383 Afr heads and ported lt4 intake. 4Ljunk60e and strange Diff.
Boost was at 19lbs and could have made more power. Was on 80lb injectors and twin pumps. Needed to bump up to 95lbers or add some meth to mix. This was done on 93 and No meth.

Exactly! Finally someone said it! Too many idiots here think every JY motor will make 800+ RWHP every time, every build, and be reliable. They ignore all the threads where someone kills these on way less power.

For the ones asking about horsepower, we are shooting for 800 rwhp but if we go over a few we aren't going to complain. However this is a daily driver and the owner is making the call on power.
Should he want to test the power limit of the block we have used a turbo that should be able to get past the 1000 rwhp mark.
I have seen sbc engines broken from shear power before, not sure if you can put the LT1 block in the same class but it is possible.
