If your IAT's aren't sky high at the end of a pull, you will make decent power. With my setup I was seeing 177F at the top of 4th. I added meth to get the timing back that was being pulled when my IAT's went high.
FWIW, you should at least consider meth injection. You fill it in most cases way less than you fill your tank with gas.
I have a 1 gallon meth tank, and I can breath the living snot out of the car and drive it a TON, and I have to fill the tank maybe once a month. I have ran meth for years (about 5), and I have spent a whopping $40 total in meth over that time span (and I still have 8 gallons left). So, most times, you are talking about something that is dirt cheap, and you barely have to keep full, all at the gain to keep you running off of pump gas and maybe making that stock LS1 lasting a little while under boost.
My Snow Performance controller starts coming on at 4#'s of boost and is at max spray at 12#'s of boost. This is all from a single nozzle.
Running dual nozzles, and a more aggressive setting will obviously go through more meth.
