Well, I'm going to go ahead and update this thread.

It took forever to get the piston set from Diamond. On the upside, I went ahead and purchased a 6.0 iron block from summit. No more collapsed sleeves.

Dan will be assembling the motor and doing some tuning on the car as well. Hopefully I will have it in my possession by the end of the month. I'm excited to see how much boost I can throw at this thing.

I found a guy here in Lubbock who supposedly has experience tuning high hp forced induction based ls motors. He will do a street tune on the car, then we'll take it to the dyno and get some numbers. I'll keep everybody posted.

We finally got the car shipped this past week. Received it Saturday night. It's everything I hoped for and a lot more! Dan Smith is absolutely a great guy to deal with. There aren't many straight up people in our society anymore. He is one of the few.

I'm just running the car on wastegate pressure for now - 14psi. It's an absolute beast on the street. Scary fast for a turbo newb like myself. At any rate, I hope to get the car to the dyno here in the next month. I'm pretty strapped for cash, so we'll see.

Big thanks again to Dan. The car has a loving new home.

Well, I finally got the car on the dyno last night. I was totally happy with the outcome. 20psi, 18 degrees of timing...the motor loved it.

Sorry for the crappy pic..I should have gotten the whole graph. Oh well.

Many thanks to Todd at Blue Thunder 2 Racing, and Chance McClaran for letting me use his dyno.
