Default Time for some upgrades to the Turbo Firehawk FORSALE!!

Well after 2 season with the same setup and having great success with the car Running a best of 8.62@156mph. I was running into issues with my Cheap Ebay Air to Air intercooler.

I decided it was time to set up my game and make the switch to Air to Water. I picked up a large intercooler from Frozen boost and started tearing the car apart.

So with the new huge intercooler it took some major work to figure out how I am going to fit everything out under the hood as I refuse to put the intercooler in the passenger compartment.

I made room for the intercooler and turbo with the help of a Mid West Chassis front bumper support and pushing the rad up into the nose of the car.

I had originally wanted to place the intercooler on the passenger side of the car so I could keep turbo placement similar and reuse my old down pipe. But I discovered that my rad mounted water pump was causing issues with the outlet of the intercooler so I was forced to move it to the passenger side.

So after playing with a couple ideas here is the turbo placement I have decided on. It looks like it will work the best with giving me lots of room to run hot side, cold side, and downpipe without having to go crazy.

I will happy with my how things look like they will come together. It took me a couple days of brain storming and playing with placement of things to get things how they would work. I should be ordering some material this week to get the ball rolling with building the new hot side and mounts for everything.

Also if anyone is looking for some parts. I will be selling the pair of Derale fans that I had on my car for the last 2 years for $190 shipped for the pair. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/der-16925/overview/

Also my old hot side with the truck manifolds, crossover, turbo brace and wastegate are for sale for SOLD

I may have a few other things for sale also.

Awesome stuff man. I've been wanting to see a ta guy mount the radiator like that. I also plan on switching to a a2w of similar size from my eBay unit. Gonna lay my radiator like that also and forward face my turbo in the center. Basically like the Ohio Boy's racing orange trans am. Trim my ram air out so you can see the turbo through the front. I'll definitely be keeping up with your build.

You may want more than duct tape to hold the radiator in place. I know it's 200mph tape but come on.

Well I pulled the trigger on ordering everything I need to build the new hot side today and some parts to get started on the Cold side.

I started adding mounts to my Mid West Chassis front bumper support for the upper mount for the rad and also mounts support the top of the fascia.

also I didn't mention in my first post but along with the upgrades I will be making the switch from a stock 78 mm Throttle body to a 90mm throttle body finally Yes I went 8.62 on a stock throttle body. I also be finally swapping in my 3 bar map and tune along with changing to FIC2000 injectors from the FIC127# injectors I had been running the last 2 years

E85 only. I had mounted the kit when I did the last build but I never filled the tank or put a nozzle in the charge pipe
