I made the rad mount tonight and got all my brackets made for the intercooler. I will be taking the intercooler over to 1fastbird's house tomorrow night to get the mounts tigged on. I should have all my flanges, pipes, and wastegates by the end of the week so I can really get the ball rolling on the new hot side.

It is crazy how much room there is up front with the rad pushed up into the nose

I'm liking the progress Dan. I'll most likely be doing this next winter as well.

Are you not going to use fans on the radiator?
Do you already have your trans cooler with fans in the back?
What pump are you going to use for the intercooler?
Where are you putting the water tank?

Thanks guys.

I sold my pusher fans and I will be ordering a set of puller fans and making a shroud for them. I am planning to buy a 5 gallon tank with the rule pump mounted inside of tr tank like the one chiseled makes.

My trans cooler has been mounted under the car with a fan for 3 years now. Although I will have to move it now due to changing my sow pipe routing. Not sure where I will place it now

I got a good bit done last night. Intercooler has brackets on it and is mounted. I modified my new truck manifolds and added V bands to them.

My new T6 flange showed up today along with my new wastegates. I should be able to get the Majority of the hot side fabbed up Saturday. and be ordering cold side pipes early next week. This are coming together quickly

I got a lot done Saturday. I got the turbo mounted and the hot side all tacked in place. I will finish welding that this week and order what I need to do the Cold side and plumb the wastegates. And I will pick up a few 4" bends to piece the downpipe together

Thanks I am really happy with how things are turning out. I have cold side pipes and v bands on the way.

unfortunately my washing machine died at the house this past weekend so that is going to slow up some of my progress on the car

Well I got the wastegates plumbed last night. Hot side just needs some welds ground/cleaned up inside the flange and then it is ready to be coated and wrapped. All of my parts to do the cold side piping should be here by Tuesday.

I also need to get to my local truck parts warehouse and pick up some 4" bends to work on my downpipe.

Here are a few updated pics

Well I got some done in the last couple days. I got the hot side all painted and wrapped including the manifolds. I did shave all the mounting bosses of the truck manifolds to make them look cleaner. I also started mocking up the downpipe. V-bands got welded to the intercooler and I will be able to mock up the cold side this week as well.

I still need to order a set of injectors and the ice tank soon.

Looking great Dan! What did you use to paint everything with? A high temp black of some sorts? I'll be finishing up my 4" downpipe as well on my car, just wish I knew a local place that sold 4" mandrel bent like you. lol
