Me too it has been killing me just sitting there but I have had so much side work today lately it has been crazy. I just Friday finished a complete rebuild on a stock LS1 that bent a rod that got treated to a head and cam package while it was apart

Well I got the car out this weekend and managed to take it for a spin. Car feels really strong and Spools a lot faster.

I am having an issue with my wideband though. I can't get it to read anything leaner than 10.0 at idle and cruising. I have leaned it out to the point stalling at idle. So it is either my wideband that died or my OS sensor placement is bad. I am swinging by a friends tomorrow to try his stand alone Wideband and see how his reads.

Thanks guys. I tried a friends stand alone Wide band tonight and the car was still very rich so I think it is the O2 sensor placement as I can lean the car out to the point that it stalls and doesn't read any leaner on the O2. I also had my Alternator start not charging today. So I yanked the hot side off so I can add a new o2 sensor bung and address a couple other issues.

Here are some pics before I took it apart and also current O2 sensor location.

Well I figured out my fueling issue the over the weekend. It was something simple in the tune. So I was out cruising the car sunday night and doing some logging. Car was feeling great.

However I turned the boost controller on and didn't think to change some of the settings on it. Needless to say I made a pull and saw 30 psi of boost(felt crazy fast). AFR's were safe but #6 cylinder liner had other plans

Looks like I will likely be down for the rest of the season.

Damn it Dan! So sorry to hear that man.

30psi though! That had to be a ride yeah?

Bummer to see the block broke on ya. Thats alot of juice pouring that hole for sure.

Nothing else was hurt right? I'll keep my eyes peeled for a block for you.

What heads are those?

That sucks, sorry to see that. I saw 22# that way once but immediately got out of it, I wasn't even looking at the boost gauge though, I was logging & it just felt too fast for what I knew my car was & I knew it.

I am hoping to pull the motor tomorrow night and get it torn completely down by the weekend. I already have another ls2 block lined up that I will be picking up on Friday. I did also have 1fastbird offer me his 5.3 to get things up and running for the summer.

Motor has 205 AFR heads on it. They took some damage but they are easily fixable. I will post more pictures once everything is out and torn down

That sucks Dan. Other than the weight is there any reason you don't want to use an iron 6.0 block?

Well I have decided it is time to part ways with the car. It has been a fun 10 years owning it but it is time to move on to something else. I am working on a complete list of everything with the car to make a for sale thread. I am looking to sell complete first before parting it out.

All the car needs to be complete is Pistons, cam, lifters, push rods, valve springs, gaskets and machine work. Everything else is there for a proven chassis and turbo kit that is 8.50 legal.

Looking for $20k OBO. This includes a ton of stuff for the car and some extras.

Will even considering welling with my enclosed 24' haulmark trailer. for $23K

I should have a thread with details in the next day or 2. I need to sit down and look at everything I have to finish my list of what goes with the car.
