Default Procharged and boost???

Hey fellas is anyone doing a procharger with a nitrous kit on here I am tossing up the idea of doing both I just want to see some setups if anyone is let me know, I think it would be badass to see how everything is hooked up and ran together, thanks

It would be simple to run . The procharger is down low and out of the way and doesn't mess with the intake . So you could run a plate system like if you wernt running a procharger. I haven't seen anyone that comes to mind running both . But it can be done and it would be a great way to cool the intake charge down .

I ran both on a couple projects, used a mild shot more as an intercooler
I didn't get crazy with it, but I could feel it kick in, lol
I ran a carb, so I just used a plate-you can get a nozzle and put it where ever you want, like a throttle body on FI

Thanks for the info it will sure help me, I had entended to run a 50-75 shot max at the track but for the most part I was going ask how much boost are y'all running? I'm attempting to guestimate how much I can get away with on my 5.3 build

5.3 stock bottom end
317 heads with ls6 valve spring and trunion rocker upgrade
551/.555 lift, 218/204 duration, 117.5 LSA (stock c5z cam)
P1sc
Can't decide on ls6 intake, super Vic, or the Vic jr intake.
And 50-75 of the nozzz(track only)
Feel free to critique or throw out input I'm game to hear what you guys have to say please and thanks,

I am running a P1 at 10lbs with a 70 shot on top. The 70 jet (.04) ends up being 110 at the wheels because of the cooling effect. Really helps flatten out the HP curve by starting the spray at 3k RPM.

Forged LS2, the tune is crucial and your timing will be pulled way back.

Yeah, we have a great guy here in Amarillo that's real damn good on tuning so I hope everything runs good and I make some decent numbers, I'll post pics to the thread when it's running

years ago NOS sold a nit. kit for a Buick turbo-not sure if they still do, but don't think they do
it was one nozzle, hoses, sols., bottle-I thought somewhere I still had the man. that came with it, it had the gas/nit. jet sizes in it-i'll have to dig for it
I think I used the 90 deg nozzle, they used to come with a 1/16 pipe fitting to install the nozzle-I used one like a bulk head in the rubber tube, bad idea, on a backfire it blew it out, lol
they sell 1/16 taps, I had a couple

I have a ysi 20 pounds and shot 200hp but it drove thru the converter, so I don't have any results yet. this spring, i'll try it again with my new converter and let you know.
