External pump for "street car". Need help
People keep telling me to swap my 00' SS to Nasty Performance sumped tank and run a Magnafuel 4303 but I've read they have a max run time of 45 minutes before overheating and dropping pressure.
Camaro is getting a 408", billet s480, 4L80, 130lb ID injectors. -10 feed and -8 return lines are already here.
What do I do? I wanna drive the car to work sometimes, I definitely don't drive it much, but what IF I do want to?

The 45min run time is for the 4100 and 4700 series pumps, the ones that don't run the fuel through the entire pump body to cool it. I've personally driven my car over 2.5hrs nonstop and had zero problems and zero pressure drop. Highly recommend the 4303

Anybody using this? Someone just told me that they aren't impressed with really anything Holley has right now. But is anybody using the Dominator pump?

I've seen good stuff out of the Dominator pumps. I have a 12-1400 that I put in my car at the end of last season. I ran it for around 50 miles & decided to redo my fuel system, so going to step up to a 12-1800.
If anyone is interested in the 1400, shoot me a PM.

Depends on the base pressure and boost. The more pressure the less the 1800 will flow. 044's seem to be the choice of most that want a reliable inline "race pump" that performs well at high pressures. They are $125 shipped each new. Could almost buy 3 for the price of the holley.
