Default WS6 Build #3 2 1/4" hot side twin scroll S480

Should have the new motor back next week from the machine shop. Car has been sitting for about 18 months collecting dust. So I decided to throw the old block and trans back in and start fabricating the new kit. Goal will be as much power as its going to make off of 93 and meth. Motor consists of;

6.0 LQ block
Coated diamond pistons
Eagle H Beams
Hell Fire rings gaped for 20 plus psi.
Clevite H series bearings
ARP 2000 rod and mains
Stock LQ4 Crank
ARP head studs
LS9 head gaskets
317 Heads/ Brian tooley springs
LS6 Intake and ported throttle body.
Custom Turbo cam by Martin at Tick performance

Converter is in a box on its way to Cameron of Torque Converter Services for some of his magic.

Turbo Kit:
Truck Manifolds
T6
Twin scroll
2 1/4" pipes
Will be ceramic coated in black
Twin Tial F38 gates with 15# springs
S480 96mm turbine/ 1.32 A/R
5" downpipe out the front bumper.

So as a heads up. It cost me 634.86 for all the piping flanges, black Satin ceramic coating. Truck manifolds and a extra Tial F38 wastegate. I already had one F38 so I bought another to make it twin scroll ended up being cheaper to buy another F38 compared to picking up a good name brand 60 mm. This includes shipping.

Transmission is a built TH400 RMVB with a transbrake.

Anyway on to the fabrication and pics.

This is where I ended up today. Still got to get the gates on but the hard part is done. Ill post up some more pics as I go. I got a solid four 12 hour days coming up so I wont get much time to work on it until I am back on my days off. Sorry about the dirty engine bay pics, thats something I plan to get after this coming weekend when I pull the motor back out. Its going to get a nice new finish haven't decided whether I should paint the bay gloss or satin. Everything will be black block/ hot pipes/ cold pipes ect when its done.

I put it into a vice and ovaled it then it slid right into the flange no cutting or grinding was required.

Me too figured I would try it since 2 1/4 can support more power than this S480 can dish out.
