It's reading correctly, but with the 1 bar pid in the scanner it wont read higher then 105 kpa. The range is just a display setting. Insert the 2 bar pid and you'll be good to go. But one thing you'll notice with the 2 bar pid in the scanner is with the key on, engine off it will read 0 kpa. This is common for gen 3 cars.

Thanks man. I would've noticed that was wrong. Makes it impossible to check map accuracy I guess.

I like your wheels. Ccw's?

Don't feel bad, I did the same thing when I first got my procharger on. Got the map sensor on, loaded the 2-bar tune, went out to log and knew I was getting into boost, but my data kept reading 105kpa... I was like WTF... but then a search on HPtuners and I figured it out.

So how much boost are you running?

I had some fun today Looks like i've got 6# from 4000-4800 but it drops off sharply after that where I think it should continue to climb. I hope the belt is just slipping.

I cant log what I dont have. Ive been tuning narrowband for 6 years. Yeah, I know. On my short list along with some gauges.

I set the range to 150 on purpose because thats all I needed.

The narrowband histogram shows boost dropping off. 145kpa at 4000. 140 kpa at 4800 and so on.

I'm guessing that's for mockup purposes, because that blower will collapse that tubing in a heartbeat. The last thing you want is to suck something into the blower because it will trash it quicker than a sneeze.

I've got some real 4" tube on order. And I've got a video but no place to post it. My belt was loose. I turned the jack bolt 2 revs with my fingers. I wonder how much boost I'll get tonight?

Shoot me your email if you want some more. The highest point could be lowered at least an inch by relocating the power steering reservoir.

Thanks! They're C6 spyder wheels.

I would increase the display setting on the map so you can actually see the boost curve. Here's a D1SC car I was tuning that had major belt slip problems.

I had to cut up the underside of my z28 hood to get the Vortech kit to fit. This is a pretty sweet setup and it's cool to see something different.

Default intake tubing

Check this out. Tight fit but it looks good. I'm either gonna have to cut a 3" wide slot in the hood or find an oval tube. Ideas?
