Not everyone at Chevelles dot com are haters ! I am very inspired by Del and am seriously thinking of selling my 498bbc and doing the EXACT same setup in my 69 SS Chevelle ! There is no way my BBC can match the drive ability as these turbo 5.3 motors give and then go to a fire breathing dragon in an instant.

My setup will be very close to yours Im running 2005 5.3 with cnc ported 243 heads and the same 480 billet with 1.32 ar and 96mm Cant wait....... you just gave me one hell of a motor vation
What boost? timing? rpm? AFR? I would gas that's with race gas and meth

i went a few weeks ago and it went 9.8 @ 143 with a hurt tranny and **** converter. i rebuilt the tranny and bought a PTC converter. all just waiting to go in. trying to make the next test n tune on the 16th.

yes it was.... And Contrary to Johns Belief that the torque number is skewed.... its right in line with what I have seen outta combinations like his from other customers.

Typical mustang dyno reading high on the torque. People often don't do the calibration correctly which makes the torque read high. Seen it on more mustangs than I can remember. I just throw the dyno sheets away. The track is the only place that gives you real numbers...
