We haven't got that far yet..recently changed most of the setup put us back a little bit.Think were going to relocate the battery to accomodate the turbo, also planning on exiting the exhaust passenger side front fender.

80# Inj. Install & E85 tune
Finally got the $$$ to get the 80# injectors. They came in yesterday and I got them installed and switched to E85 fuel. Drives better and idles smoother on corn. Once I get it tuned, I can switch waste gate springs, and go from 7# to 14# of boost. Our next track day in Vegas is on May 2. If all goes well I should have some track times to post.

Update
This kit is working good for me. The power is too much for the trans and rear to take, no suspension yet either. It is fun to drive but at 14# you just smell rubber to 100 mph. Put it back on 7# and plan for new drag radials.... Its been 100+ degrees in Vegas and no overheating yet.
Working on my 97 S10 forged 377 w/hi ram and S480.
I got it running with the hi ram and stock exhaust manifolds, switching to turbo setup now.

Update 9 10 14
Broke the stock rear end. Put another stock one in and welded the spider gears.
Started pushing water on 3 cylinders at 14#. Pulled the LS1 out, just needed head gaskets. Decided to try a 5.3L Iron instead. Made it thru the Vegas heat, max engine temp was 228 degrees. Ordered a new radiator to stand up and go for the dual stock fans again. Also got the Hoosier drag radials on 315 /40 / 17.
Track runs again on the 19th of this month.

Update 10 21 14
I don't recommend turbos unless your the tuner and A good one. The drain back is tight. With the radiator stood up there is room to mount the turbo higher which would help the drain but require a down pipe mod.
To much trouble. I would make my own kit at that point.

Sorry to bring this thread back up but just curious if you ever got any dyno numbers/track times from this set up? And overall how much you liked using the cx hotside still performing good after some time or did you just decide to make your own hotside

I built the S10 Kit and it is working good as well. Here is a pic of both in front of my work PEP. My son and I work there and drive them to work.

I have this hotside, still in the box, because my engine machinist is back logged. Looking forward to trying it with my current PT7675 . 96 A/R w/Billet wheel. I'm going to mock it up on the engine stand first to see about the various issues people have reported(#2 plug interference, header flange needing bolt hole elongated, etc). I hope the fully forged 5.3 will be ready soon. I've got a ton of parts to install by this Spring, converting my Turbo LT1 setup to a 5.3. All and all, it's exciting to read about the performance people are getting out of these little motors. I will reply with my own impressions of this kit.
I also purchased some 1/2" mild steel flanges and a box of 2" mandrel bent pieces to weld up a twin (GT35's) kit for the same motor. Just need to get the block in the car so I can see what kind of room I'm left with to position the turbos.
I already converted my stock fans/shroud to a pusher format. That should allow more room for the Turbo when the kit's installed. They are so much more efficient than any aftermarket fans I've found. The car, even in downtown Houstons summer traffic jams, barely gets over the 1/4 mark with the current turbo LT1.

Just got the hot and cold side cxracing kit for mine. How did you route your exhaust? I have to still cut mine out for the new piping. I had a rear mount setup for a while and now im switching to this. So far it looks good. Im on the fence of pulling my stock heads and putting 317 heads on witnn ls9 gaskets and headstuds.
Im curious what did you do for radiator and making room? I have an ON3 t76 that might fit just by cutting and standing up the stock rad but i might stuff a gt45 in there later which i think might be bigger.
oh and did you modify anything to get to the sparkplug easier?
