At the moment we haven't turned up the boost. This build came together in the final minutes before we left for TX2k14. Honestly my body is still recovering from this build. We tuned the car @ 11 psi on our Mainline dyno laying down 700whp normally this dyno is a heart breaker reading about 18 percent lower than the dynojet.

When we made it to Texas I tossed it on Hennessey's Dynojet laying down 861whp @ 16 lbs with un-optimized ignition timing. It should make a little over 1100hp on 25 lbs.

I also haven't posted much about it but this is a 6 speed car. Running the RPS triple carbon clutch and a TR6060 from a CTS-v

Here's the only video I have at the moment. We're working on a full build video.

Matt

Thanks guys. I just need some time to finalize the Motec setup and start the dialing in process at the track.

Thanks Ron! Glad to be here. The guys in the shipping department do work. Every order is shipped out the day they receive it. The 1000's are an excellent injector!!

The motec display is beautiful - Love the simplicity of this build. Great job - Looking forward to you leaning on the 4 bolt set up more to see how far you can push them without them pushing water back at you.

Nice build man! Can you tell more about your trans? Is it built or stock and how do you like it? I'm trying to decide what to go with on my build.

What are the specs on the trickflow heads you're running? I used to be a mr2 guy as well and used to follow your mr2 build on mr2oc. You're work is amazing. Great job Matt !

Thanks, I think with the o-ringed deck and some spot on tuning, water pushing shouldn't be an issue.

Its the TR6060 from a 2012 CTS-V. I sent it off to RPM where they replaced all the soft parts and wear items. I also had the 31 spline Magnum mainshaft and F-body tail housing installed as well as a REM polish on all steel parts.

Awesome to hear from an old MR2 fan. I still love the MR2 and I'm sure I'll own another one day. The heads are the Trick Flow 205's for the 5.3L Fully CNC ported from trickflow.

I love the 6 speed too. Once its all dialed in this thing will be a beast. I can tell the car is very light. I weighed the car this week. However this is one secret I'm keeping to myself .

The 275 pros are the only tire I've ran on this car. However I can tell it acts more like a very tame slick rather than a true drag radial. Lets consider them a cheater radial.
