Get a bigger blower. If you want more low end torque put a restictor plate in. I run a stock LS6 with a small blower and get 588RWTQ with a restrictor plate running 10 psi.

You might want to measure your pulleys and do a little math to see exactly how fast you're spinning that little G trim already.

Well, go ahead and have your dad build you that 540hp/600tq naturally aspirated 383 motor. Just make sure you run lots of boost to reach you goal, then report back here. Good luck!

You still should be able to move your current blower and get a YSI and get those same numbers for a cheaper price then going 383.
I'd just go with the bigger blower.

Look brother, you're fighting a losing battle against both physics and thermodynamics and possibly a few other branches of study. Nobody is saying you can't strap a G trim to an LS1 and spin it fast enough to make 600 rwhp but you are literally at the limit of how much air that blower will move with any semblance of efficiency. Moving to a 383 may get you a little more low end torque but you're not going to make much, if any, more power than you are now because that head unit just isn't built to move that much air without heating it beyond reason.

It's just as easy to make 800 rwhp with a 347 as it is with a 383 but you need the right parts to do it. Either a heavy duty T trim or a YSi is what you need, not a stroker kit.

I just don't get the point of the thread if your not going to listen to reason and then argue how great your dad is.

If you decide to go with a T or YSi you can't use your current bracket. You'll have to get a whole new bracket setup from an aftermarket company who won't be responsive to your needs. Trust me, I know from experience and others on here have too. If you want to go to a bigger blower, sell what you have now and switch to a Procharger F series.

Yes, if you have the correct bracket for the bigger head units you should be good to go. What bracket do you have?

I attempted to help, and will continue to help those who need it, and I'm able to help. Sometimes you simply offer advice, guidance, or personal experience, and let those people make their own decisions.

I agree buddy problem is 1. all advice is individuals opinions so you have to weigh them against each other and 2. the other problem is people do not listen when they get a majority of people trying to help them with the same opinion.
