I was told after alot of research for my FMIC that the not all intercoolers are the same. Turbo intercoolers will work, but are not meant for superchargers and are not as efficient for superchargers.......... I am still doing some research and it seems alot of the problems we have with our ATI kits is the intercoolers. They are to small and do not flow enough to support big horsepower like alot of use myself included are trying to do. It seems that alot of use are seeing low boost at our intake manifolds........ When my combo goes on this week i am going to tap into my ducting on the blower side to see how much boos the blower its self is creating and how much boost loss i am seeing thru the intercollers......... A Front mount is defenitly in my future......... Ill let you guys know what i find out.....

yup, those dinky ATI intercoolers are a joke for you guys trying to make big power.
Thats why I don't even have intercoolers. Not to mention the price savings
Maybe one day when I have money to burn I will do a FMIC.
For now the alky does the trick.

I plan on ordering the SD stuff today most likely, I get my car back today, so I'll have to take the bracket off, etc.......
If I do indeed see no belt slip with this 8 rib spring tension setup, a FMIC is next on the list for sure.....
Belt slip is my main concern due to what I had to go through w/my last 8 rib setup.....
