Lol maybe we should talk then Martin. Although traction is already an issue without the low end

Very nice! And gives me hope of hitting similar although my setup will be a 370 with ls3 top end and twin precision 66s. My goals are get it to 800 whp on 93 and then have the option of changing to e85 at some point and running more boost. E85 is available around here but scarce with only a few stations. That and this is my first build of this magnitude and figure that will be plenty to learn with. Really enjoyed your build thread and learned a lot from it. I have a Huron speed twin hot side kit so very similar. Congrats again!

If the boost controller would hold boost to 7k Josh would of seen 1100rwhp unlocked through a 9" and full 3" exhaust.

Anyone wanting to replicate a more drag oriented version of this set-up could easily see another 100rwhp with 4" down pipes and larger AR housings.

Congrats Josh!
Nice numbers!

Martin going +6 on this cam! Nice! I thought going +5 on my cam spec last week was as far as he'd go.... guess not!

I'm curious, how hard were you pushing those injectors at that power level? And did you run 8AN line all the way from the pumps then. I was debating on doing 10AN, but this is already above where I'd ever want to be.

6 degrees is normally the limit to still keep the heat treat happy.

The wider the split and the wider the LSA the touchier that gets.

Thanks for the kind words guys! im excited about it. We did a little more tweaking the other day. i swapped from 11psi WG springs to 15psi WG springs to help carry and hold the boost a little better and this was the result.

we bumped her up to about 26.5-27psi and added a degree of timing. runs really strong lol

also won me this

I had an SVT vs LSX competition on a dyno against another twin turbo cobra. he made 982 whp... lol

As far as some of the questions..

My fuel setup is twin walbro 450's with a -8feed 6return. the injectors are ID 1300s and theyre pretty well tapped at 108% IDC. fueling was still good though. 11.7AFR we could really lean it out a little more but we just left it.

The boost controller is an Eboost2. I think i have really high back pressure, and probably should switch to a controller than can utilize CO2

I wanted to make it down there yesterday but had a lot of things going on.

Glad to see she is running strong, and well done beating the mod motor

Measure back pressure, then you'll know for sure.

If the controller is working and covering all boost options, then I see no reason to use CO2.

Going well though !

Congrats Josh. What did the final timing number end up being? 1105 to the tires through a 4l80 is insane. This was unlocked, right?

Awesome Josh, also glad to be a part of this! Told you those turbos would do exactly what you wanted for your goals! Keep it up and keep enjoying!!!

1100rwhp unlocked should go 170 easy.

I was more or less saying 8's@160 will be the norm for his car. Not that it would never run faster than 160. 160,165 or maybe 170...it will be up to Josh where it stops and ends up.

I don't think Josh's car has any weight reduction done to it and on top of that it has an iron block, twin turbo's, 4l80e and an intercooler.

That's an additional 200lbs.+ on top of a 3500lbs car.

3700 lbs and 1100rwhp unlocked should go 160+, but I don't think 170 is going to happen.

Great numbers curious what it will do at the track will dip well into the 8s even with that weight.
