I ended up letting out an both runs at about the 1000ft'ish mark and ran 11.8 101mph with a 1.9 60ft and 11.7 with a 2.0 60ft don't remember the last mph. I only made two run before I lost oil pressure due to rod bearing. Not the best update, I guess better then nothing though.

This was a 3600lb tank with a 5.3 with 862 heads and a tu1.5 cam runnign 14PSI boost

I will have too look at the log to see when full boost was coming in, or better yet I will post the log this evening.

Exact same 1/8 as the GT45, 7.5 at 96mph. I will post time slips along with log if I can find them.

Maybe I'm wrong but that seems a little late? What size hotside piping and cam are you running?

2.5 hot side. The cam is completely wrong, it's a TU1.5 so I would take my results with a grain of salt.

Ahh that makes more sense. I'm running 2.25 hotside and a stock (for now) 5.3 cam so I should have a little better spool.

well an update here for you guys
On3 performance 78/76-nnxivyr.jpg

the billet 76/96 on 14psi made 515whp, just like the 76/65 and the 78/75

so there is no power figures with the 78/75 like we wanted but i did find out that something else is wrong with this setup, going to swap the cam next with a LS2 cam since they are not great but they are not terrible, it will let me know if the cam is the problem or if i have to start going thru the driveline

Sucks you've got underlying issues, but looks like the 78/75 maybe a winner after all. Will you be able to test it again after you find the problem? You would think a 216/220 on 114 would be a decent turbo cam?? Thanks for the hard work Denmah.

Surprised you are not using a Circle D converter on this one. That at least would eliminate blowing through the converter.

feels like its pulling fine, i hit high mph easily, i have had other cars iwth 40% converter loss and you sure can feel it.

also, i pulled the cam out of this truck last night in my spare time after tuning an off road buggy, and it made only 15hp less...

something is crazy wrong here hahah

You all need to degree that joker and see where it's at. My 08 5.3 motor was def 6* retarded dot to dot. Threw the same cam in my 06 4.8 and it was almost dead on dot to dot. (same timing set and chain as well) The "new" cam you threw in may be way retarded as well.

I have a fresh JY motor in the thirdgen and the car feels like a different animal. I will have some track time Friday so I should have a solid update.

I'm running 230/236 114. When I was going to order my boost friendly cam from Texas speed they suggested 230/236 112. They stated that my can wool work perfectly fine with the setup I have. But would be more better with the 112lsa

I don't know what's wrong with these guys thinking that a turbo cam on a 112lsa is a good thing. That's horrible. Maybe Mr Martin Smallwood could chime in on that.
