Does this look like a quality merge?

Looks very quality but too much of a angle going into the flange for my personal likings.

Certainly very good quality fabrication.

Probably not the best "merge" you could have though. Would it ever really affect performance that badly ?

Probably not. You'd probably struggle to measure any difference on most builds

Exactly what Steve said, "they" say you want at least 12" of straight before the turbo so that's what I went off of. Mine has 8" of straight but sometimes you have no choice. Iv seen turbo kits that "T" into each other for a merge and run 9's so I'm sure this will work just fine for 90% of people.

I wouldnt agree with the 12" of straight, as that would be impractical on a lot of setups.

Really as long as it's fairly decent and smooth, it'll work just fine. You're always restricted by what space is available on the car anyway, so there will always be compromises.

Yea, 12" is ridiculously long and damn near impossible I agree, lol. OP, just try and find one with any amount of straight if possible, if not buy the one posted.

I like to see something closer to this

Using what you have above might be tough to fab the rest of the hotside and personally I would rather a smoother transition into the turbo
