Default 317 Heads, Wiseco-3.2 CR build recommendations

I am removing my engine for a few upgrades, and need a few recommendations. Car has a ECS blower, small blower cam, 100% meth, LS6 intake, headers / offroad pipe & ported TB. Right now I am running 14psi on a stock bottom end. Goal is to make around 700 SAFE RWHP
I am adding a set of 317 heads, and need to cut them to find a target CR of around 9.8-1. I will be using a Wiseco -3.2 piston with a set of forged rods.
Any and all input is appreciated.

Default Cut heads

I talked with Texas Speed this morning, and they told me to cut the 317 heads down 17-18 thousands, and that should give me a desired CR of 9.7-1.
Thoughts?

If this is for the street I would leave the heads alone and keep the compression around 10:1.
What engine is this by the way ?

Default Ls1

engine is a 03 LS1,
Leaving the 317 heads alone would make around 9.4-1 with the wiseco -3.2 piston, which is way too low. That is why I am thinking of cutting them down 18 thou to make it right at 9.8-1.
No way to get 10.1 with the 317. if I do a 243 that would give me around 10.2-1 with the same piston. @ 9.8-1 I should be able to run a little more timing, and more boost.
And yes, this is a street car/weekend warrior.

Sorry, brain is working backwards today. Yes I would either mill them or get a set of 243's . My 383ci is @ 9.8:1 compression and has nice part throttle and out of boost *****.

I would leave the extra material for better sealing and not worry about bumping compression.
